Terms of Service & Legal Conditions

These Terms of Service ("Agreement", "Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "You") and MİAT ("Application", "Service", "We", "Platform") regarding your access to and use of the website (miat.app) and MİAT mobile applications across iOS and Android.

CRITICAL LEGAL DISCLAIMER: MİAT is an independent personal productivity and reminder tool. MİAT is NOT a government agency, public authority, diplomatic mission, notary, tax office, or certified legal entity, and does NOT represent any government. Users remain exclusively and independently responsible for verifying, monitoring, and fulfilling all official deadlines, statutory obligations, and legal requirements.

1. Nature and Scope of Service

1.1. MİAT enables users to organize and monitor expiration dates, renewal periods, and deadlines (e.g., vehicle inspections, insurance, passports, residence permits, visas, leases, warranties, and subscriptions) across local and cloud environments.

1.2. MİAT does NOT execute administrative transactions on behalf of users, submit official applications, grant visa extensions, or collect government tax payments.

2. Third-Party Official Links Disclaimer

2.1. Direct links to official public portals (e.g., DVLA, DVSA, Home Office, HMRC in the UK; Metrash2, MOI, HMC in Qatar; ANTS, France-Visas in France; e-Devlet, TÜVTÜRK in Turkey) are provided solely for convenience as external hyperlinks.

2.2. MİAT maintains no formal partnership, agency, sponsorship, or affiliation with any of these public or private institutions.

2.3. MİAT accepts no liability for third-party website downtime, URL reconfigurations, domain changes, or any transactions conducted by users on external third-party sites.

3. STRICT LIMITATION OF LIABILITY & NO WARRANTY

3.1. Verification Responsibility: Users bear the sole responsibility of confirming the accuracy of dates, terms, and notification intervals against their official physical/digital documents.

3.2. Notification Reliability: Push notifications rely upon third-party delivery infrastructure (Apple APNs, Google FCM), device battery optimization settings, OS focus/do-not-disturb modes, and network connectivity.

3.3. Exclusion of Damages: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MİAT and its developers shall NOT be liable for:

Any missed, delayed, or undelivered reminder notifications,
User data entry errors or inaccurate records,
Administrative fines, late payment fees, penalty points, or statutory interest,
Vehicle inspection failures, vehicle clamping, or road tax fines (e.g., UK MOT/DVLA penalties, Qatar Fahes/Estemara delays, TÜV fines),
Immigration penalties, visa overstay fees, revoked residence permits, or deportation costs,
Lapsed insurance or warranty policies resulting in denied compensation,
Any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages.

MİAT total cumulative liability for any claim arising out of or relating to this Agreement shall in no event exceed the total amount paid by the user to MİAT in the preceding 12 (twelve) months.

4. In-App Subscriptions & Store Terms (MİAT+)

4.1. MİAT offers a free tier (3 records in total, including drafts, completed records and archived records) and an optional paid subscription tier, MİAT+ (up to 500 records and enhanced tracking).

4.2. In-App Purchases and subscriptions are processed and managed exclusively via Apple App Store or Google Play Store under their respective merchant of record terms.

4.3. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours prior to the end of the current billing cycle via your Apple ID or Google Play account settings.

5. Regional Jurisdiction Schedules (Country-Specific Terms)

🇬🇧 Schedule 1: United Kingdom (UK) Specific Terms

If you access the Service in the UK, the following provisions apply in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and UK GDPR:

Statutory Consumer Rights: Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits statutory rights that cannot be waived under UK consumer law.
Digital Content Supply: MİAT provides digital content and tools as-is. You acknowledge that reminder functions are secondary tools and do not substitute statutory legal notices.

🇶🇦 Schedule 2: State of Qatar & GCC Specific Terms

For users residing in or accessing the Service within the State of Qatar and GCC countries under Law No. 13 of 2016 (PDPPL):

Metrash2 & Government Separation: MİAT confirms it has no access to your official Metrash2, MOI Qatar, or QID credentials. All reminders are user-generated.
Zero Sensitive Storage: No biometric, credit card CVV, or government password data is ever requested or stored.

🇪🇺 Schedule 3: European Union (EU / France) Specific Terms

For users within the European Economic Area (EEA) under EU Directive 2011/83/EU and GDPR:

Right of Withdrawal: By subscribing to MİAT+ and requesting immediate digital performance, you consent to immediate provision and acknowledge that you waive the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal once digital fulfillment has begun, subject to App Store / Google Play refund policies.

6. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, subject to mandatory local consumer protection regulations in your country of habitual residence.
